Local Motorcycle Club Rides To Fight Dyslexia

LANCASTER, Pa. -- The motorcycle club Hiram's Scottish Riders stopped in Lancaster Wednesday morning as part of its ride to fight dyslexia.The Reading-based club presented an $850 check to the Masonic Learning Center for Children on the 200 block of West Chestnut Street.The motorcyclists are riding to nine learning centers in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts to raise money to help children who are dyslexic.
"The whole thing I love about the trip is meeting the parents and children and the people who run the centers," Victor Frederick said. "It's amazing their enthusiasm for what they do for these children."The bikers will be making stops in Reading, Allentown and Massachusetts.
