Police: Clerk, Robbers Shoot It Out In York Store

YORK COUNTY, Pa. -- York police are investigating a Monday afternoon shooting at a neighborhood grocery store.Police said two men were shot and wounded inside Kendall's Jamaican Grocery Store in the 600 block of East Market Street.Police said suspects Luis Anthony Hernandez, Miguel Castillo and Richard Rivera entered the store and confronted owner Patrick Winter and clerk Steven Gray. At that point, a shootout started between the three suspects and Gray, according to investigators.
One bullet struck Winter and several struck Hernandez. Both were treated at York Hospital. Their conditions are not known.Officers arrested Castillo and Rivera. They are both charged with criminal attempted homicide, robbery and aggravated assault. Charges are pending against Hernandez.
