Small Athletic Field Won't Be Home To Pro Baseball

POSTED: 3:58 pm EST January 13, 2005

All plans are off to turn Small Athletic Field in York into a Minor League Baseball stadium.

Wednesday night, the York City School Board agreed to no longer discuss building a new stadium at the district-owned field.

The school board said it would support borrowing money to renovate Small Field.

The city is now focusing on the Arch Street neighborhood as a potential site for a Minor League stadium.
