Charity Riders of Central PA will sponsor a Poker Run to benefit Paxton Ministries, a Harrisburg-based charity that provides long-term housing in a family atmosphere for 90 poor and disabled adults, most of whom deal with mental illness or mental retardation. The event will be held rain or shine on Saturday, May 10. Registration will be held at Paxton Ministries on 2001 Paxton St., Harrisburg from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. the morning of the run. Free weekend admission to our annual Blowout on August 22nd and 23rd will be awarded to highest and lowest poker hands. The cost is $6.00 per person for non-Charity Riders members and $5.00 per person for members. Price includes door prizes, entertainment, and complimentary refreshments at the final destination.
