Melanie Gardner
Melanie Gardner is part of the Traffax team, keeping an eye on roads around the Susquehanna Valley.
Originally from Bedford, Melanie attended Shippensburg University where she earned a bachelor of arts degree. Melanie occasionally returns to the university as a guest speaker, and is currently working toward her master of science degree.Melanie began her broadcast career working at numerous radio stations in western Pennsylvania. She also worked at WHP-TV in Harrisburg before beginning as a traffic anchor at the Traffax Command Center in 1997.Melanie supports her community by participating in the Walk for Diabetes, biking in the American Diabetes Association's Tour deCure, and donating to the United Way. She was also a dog foster parent for PAWS. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and children, and playing Bunco.
